This is a delicious dessert from Pakistan that should be served hot.

Ingredients
5 oz ghee or butter
Seeds of 8 green cardamom pods
6 eating apples, peeled and grated
4 oz sugar
2 oz unsalted, finely sliced pistachio nuts
1/2 tsp. ground cardomum

Method
Heat all the ghee except for 2 Tbsp.
Add the cardomum seeds and fry for two minutes, stirring constantly
Add the apple and fry for 5-8 minutes until soft
Add the sugar and ground cardamom and cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat untl the water had evaporated
Heat the remaining ghee separately and saute the pistachio and almond nuts.
Add nut mixture to apple, stir and serve.
