Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients:
300g spaghetti/pasta
4 rashers of bacon
15ml oil
2 eggs
50ml cream
50g cheese
parsley

Method:
1. Collect: large pan, small frying pan, food scissors, scales, 15ml spoon, measuring jug, grater, wooden spoon, sieve and a fork.
2. Collect ingredients.
3. Half fill the large pan with water and put on high to bring to the boil.
4. Weigh the pasta - do not put into water until it is boiling. Keep lid off pan and still on high heat- the bubbles will stop it sticking. Only turn down if the water spills over. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
5. Snip bacon into strips with scissors. Wash hands. Place in frying pan with oil and cook on medium heat until it has gone crispy - stir with wooden spoon. Turn off.
6. Turn pasta off. Take pan in one hand and sieve in other- carefully go over to sink and pour into sieve. Give it a good shake to remove water. Return to large pan. Add bacon. Do not switch cooker on.
7. Measure cream in jug. Crack eggs into jug and whisk with fork. Add to pasta mixture and stir until egg has set - there should be enough heat in pan without needing to switch back on.
8. Serve with grated cheese and parsley on top.
